Can I take a tour with Shore Excursions Chile without booking beforehand?
No. We have to schedule and confirm the guide, vehicle and order of visits at least one month before the arrival of your ship (or flight) and therefore are unable to take walk-in customers at the wharf or airport. Occasionally we will be able to make very last minute bookings but much will depend on what you require.
Are meals included in my tour?
We generally offer to include lunch as you will be on tour with us for several hours, and perhaps heading for the long journey home, and will need to fuel up. On our wine tours, the lunch venue is often one of the highlights of the tour. If you do not wish to have a full lunch then we can find snacks en route as required and in any case, at wineries, bread and cheese will be included with tastings. We can also include lunch at a winery on a non-wine-oriented tour.
Booking procedure:
1. In order to reserve your place(s) a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking.
2. One month before your tour/transfer starts, we will contact you for the payment of the remaining 75%, again payable by credit card or PayPal.

Will I miss the ship/flight if I take an independent tour/transfer with Shore Excursions Chile?
No! We are well aware of the exact schedules of each ship that visits Chile, and our tours strictly adhere to the planned timings, meaning that we will always have you at the wharf (or the airport) in plenty of time before the ship departs. We are also able to adjust the tour timings for any last-minute schedule changes.
How do I book?
Simply contact us using the contact form in the sidebar, with the name of the ship you are arriving on, the date, and the port(s) being used. We will add you to our booking records and then send you a payment link for the deposit payment that guarantees your booking.
Is there a minimum number of clients required?
No. But as with most things in life, the more people you have in your group the cheaper the excursion and/or transfer will be, as you share more of the costs. Single travellers do unfortunately carry a significant premium.
How is payment managed?
We will ask you for a 25% deposit in order to secure your places, payable by credit card. One month before your tour/transfer date we will request the balance payment from you and then email all of the information for your services. At that point, you are 100% confirmed on your tour(s) with us, and can fully enjoy your cruise in the knowledge that your shore excursions and/or transfers in Chile are all arranged.
Do you offer group departures?
No. All of our tours are private departures with everyone being in the same group, disembarking or embarking as a group of people together and at the same time to avoid delays.
